The Gene doll was created by Mel Odom. Her costume is royal blue in color. She has platinum blond hair. Gene comes in her original white box; still attached to the box is her bouquet of roses and her blue muff, both in their plastic casings. The Certificate of Authenticity is enclosed and shows that this is number WO7564 . The pamphlet describing her dress and story of Mel Odom is included. The pamphlet describes the Hello Hollywood Hello Gene doll wearing a "California-blue suit, trimmed in matching "fur" with a classic, beautifully tailored silhouette. Circa 1941". The pencil-thin kick-pleated skirt is provocatively paired with a fitted "fur"-trimmed jacket over a sleeveless silk blouse with a spill of exquisite lace at the neckline. Her accessories include a silk rose bouquet; heart-shaped hat; a blue "fur" muff with hidden lined purse pocket; gold and rhinestone pin; "diamond" stud earrings; nude seamed nylons; white gloves; and matching shoes. Also included is a large "billboard" perfect for display. Designed by the renowned fashion artists Doug James and Joan Greene. The brown shipper box is also present.She is new and never been displayed.
